I had a play around with a couple of my new favourite things that are coming to the store this week. The new and improved bunny wrap by Fairground, in Spring time weight and cropped nice and short just like a light cardigan. I love it. Also obsessed with this amazing dress by May, tuxedo style with a zip up the front, collar and full skirt is perfection. The beautiful Issy is coming in for a shoot tomorrow and then all our gorgeous new things will be in store.

It is all happening at Frankie Sunshine headquarters this week (and it’s only Tuesday!) Our look book shoot is being planned and prepped for, the studio is getting a pretty up and I have spent the day unpacking some fabulous new stock. I always get a thrill when I am unpacking boxes, as I usually order ranges in the opposite season so far before they actually arrive. It is always a lovely suprise when they actually get here and I have forgotten what I’m getting.

Quick attempt at an outfit post from the wonderful wedding I attended on the weekend. And yes it looks like there was a lot of lounging going on when, in actual fact this was probably the only time we sat down all night. Every single person at the wedding was getting their boogie on and it was oh so much fun. Something that made this possible however is the fact that I had possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes on EVER! Buy them here (now on sale, even better, I highly recommend you buy 2 pairs). I need to give a massive shout out to the designer of my shoes Sydney based Keilana Skye. My goodness these shoes were the most comfortable pair of skyrockets I have ever worn. Weddings are by no means anything short of a marathon. Saturday was a big day of standing, walking and most importantly dancing the night away, and my feet felt fabulous to the very end. I will definitely be stocking up on more of these magic shoes.

I have to admit I love an oversized shirt dress. The reasons are endless, easy, comfy, bag lady-esque. Yep you guessed it, I am a lazy dresser. This, I have to add is not through choice, but as a consequence of being a busy bee and allocating my time not to dressing but to otherworldly things like…working, working, working. No excuse really I know, and I promise to try harder but I kinda like having an excuse. I love and adore those cute as pie, layered master pieces that grace the all inspiring pages of street style blogs the world over. But, I will probably always be a dress and go kinda gal, 2 layers max. This outfit is the perfect everyday example. I am wearing an oversized vintage shirt dress I picked up at Bondi markets and have fallen hard for, Finders Keepers body con skirt, Karen Walker shades, vintage bag and boots. Total lazy bones I know, but it’s just how I roll.
