Through Uni I lived with a few of my very best friends in a massive 4 bedroom 2 story terrace that was close to everything and on Sundays we would host Art Sunday where friends came over and we had paint offs. Someone would pick a theme and everyone had a short amount of time to create a picture based on the theme. It was hilarious and some of the results were good, some not so good and some plain terrible. Our walls were covered in the artworks made and we subsequently made every visitor to our house for the next year vote on the best artwork. Last Sunday I had a grown up version of Art Sunday where BF and I went and saw the Picasso exhibition at the Gallery of NSW, and it was so amazingly good, the man had so much talent and the collection was so extensive and inspiring we both left with big plans of getting our sketch pads out as soon as we got home. The other pics are from a contemporary exhibition that was on at the same time and I was thrilled to see this artwork by Del Kathryn Barton that I have loved since I saw it last year. I never forgot about the Alexander Wang Mirte boots after seeing this pic of Taylor Tomassi oh so long ago and now thanks to ebay, my manfriend and the season for giving they will soon be mine. YAY! Best Christmas ever.

I spent the weekend in Sydney doing all sorts of wonderful things. Saturdays AM was spent shopping in Paddington and stopping to have a coffee in the ever so tranquil Paddington Resevoir and the PM was spent dancing up a storm at Homebake. Homebake highlight was definitely PNAU, so so good.
